Windows - Git Bash - git commit signing failed: secret key not available

I started developing on my Windows 10 PC again and because I'm a linux guy, I stumbled upon signing git commits.

I installed GPG4Win and imported my private key, but when signing off commits, I received this garbage message:

gpg: skipped "name <name@mail.com>": secret key not available
gpg: signing failed: secret key not available
error: gpg failed to sign the data
fatal: failed to write commit object

Simple fix was telling git which app to use for signing off commits:

git config --global gpg.program "C:\Program Files (x86)\GnuPG\bin\gpg.exe"
